About Us

London Business School's Tech and Media Club (TMC) is one of the largest student-run clubs on campus dedicated to helping students explore careers in technology and media. Our 40-person executive committee, comprised of students across LBS programmes, plan and host our speaker series events, professional development opportunities, signature conference, and more.

We aim to raise the profile of LBS amongst the broader technology community, both in the UK and internationally, and support the development and ongoing success of our students and alumni in the Tech industries.

What We Do

01

Elevate Mentorship Programme

TMC matches students across LBS programs with alumni working in tech and media to participate in a structured mentorship programme. This year over 75 students are currently being mentored by an LBS alum to help them break into a tech-related career.

04

International Treks

TMC hosts treks each year to bring students to tech hubs around the world to meet with businesses and hear from their leaders. Past locations have included Silicon Valley, New York City, Dublin, India (virtual), and Africa (continent-wide, virtual).

02

ProductX

ProductX is a 2-month training program aimed at aspiring Product Managers. The program consists of a series of seminars and workshops to help students land and succeed in product manager roles - over 50% of last year’s cohort went onto accept PM internships or full-time roles.

05

Sector Expertise

Learn about different tech sub-sectors such as FinTech, Big Tech, Startups, Gaming, Media, and Diversified

03

Tech@LBS

While each year is different, TMC holds an annual conference in November to explore an aspect of the technology industry. Our 2022 Conference Theme "Future in Tech" was attended by over 250 students! Find our more on the conferences here.
