How do global films and series actually get made? As part of the Inside the Film & TV Value Chain series, this fireside chat focuses on the business and strategy of global film and media production.

Join us for an exclusive fireside chat with Matthew Stillman, British entrepreneur, film producer, and CEO & Founder of the 2020 Group—a network of over 30 companies across 16 countries involved in international production of film, television, advertising, and music video content.

Matthew began his career in Prague in the early 1990s, building Stillking Films from the ground up into one of the world’s most respected production service companies. Under his leadership, Stillking and affiliated companies have worked on major global film productions, including such widely known films as Casino Royale, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, Spider-Man: Far From Home, The Bourne Identity, and Chronicles of Narnia.

Stillman’s companies have also been involved in recent critically acclaimed cinema, including Poor Things and Nosferatu, as well as high-profile series like The Wheel of Time, Interview with the Vampire, Dune: The Prophecy, and Wednesday for Netflix.

His work spans beyond film into international advertising and music video production, with projects involving artists such as Beyoncé, Madonna, Kanye West, and David Bowie, and campaigns for global brands like Google, Apple, Adidas, and Guinness.

In this session, Matthew will discuss:
- Strategic insights into producing creative content at a global scale
- Operational challenges across different markets and production environments
- Business and commercial decision-making in a complex, international industry
- The evolving role of production in the era of streaming and new technology

This fireside interview will be followed by audience Q&A and networking with light refreshments.
