Valerie, an MBA2012 student, has worked as a Senior Associate for McKinsey & Company in the retail and consumer goods industries. Passionate about the Arts, Travelling and -of course- Entrepreneurship.

Name: Torsten Wolter

Position at the Club: Co-chair of the Club

Torsten is a former entrepreneur, turnaround manager, and strategy consultant. Hailing from Germany he enjoys snowboarding and wakeboarding in his spare time, and is passionate about new technologies.

Name: Nicholas Ransley  

Position at the Club: Co-chair of the Club

Nick is in the MBA class of 2012. Nick worked in M&A law for five years and currently interns with a VC fund investing in the digital and media sectors. Nick is passionate about new business and dreams of being a future buccaneer of capitalism.

Name: Fernando Ramos

Position at the Club: Treasurer

At the age of 11, Fernando opened his first business: a magazine stand to sell his used comics and, with the proceeds, buy new ones. Before the MBA, he worked for 9 years in several different departments of Banco Real (a top-tier institution in Brazil). In 2006, he became partner at a film-producing company that was awarded with 4 VMA prizes from MTV Brazil. Even though the business only lasted 10 months, it was probably his richest professional experience to date.

Name: Borja Breña-Lajas, ACA

Position at the Club: VP Events

Chartered accountant with experience in markets and IT consulting, Borja is passionate about entrepreneurship and has started up his own venture. When he is not busy with work, Borja enjoys blogging, playing sports and meeting good friends. He holds an MSc Telecommunications Engineering degree.

Name: Shiv Ramanna 

Position at the Club: VP Communications

Shiv is in the MBA class of 2012. Shiv has worked in the technology sector for five years and is passionate about tech entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship. He is the founder of India Policy Wiki - a multi lingual wiki platform focussed on policy issues in India.

Name: Tiago Teixeira Correia

Position at the Club: VP Communications

Tiago is a 2012 MiM and has work experiences in Strategy Consulting and in Marketing. Having spent his University years between his dedication to the several college organizations and his passion in founding youth entrepreneurship initiatives, such as a Junior Enterprise and an Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Competition, he has also been organized the Entrepreneurship Sessions Sintra in Portugal and was a speaker at the TEDxYouth@Porto.

Name: Paul Jolly

Position at the Club: 2013 Conference Co-Chair

Paul is an MBA 2013 student. Paul previously worked as an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs in their securities division. Outside of work, Paul enjoys mountain biking, rugby and of course all things entrepreneurial.

Name: Pola Kurczych

Positon at the Club: VP Events

Pola is a student in the MBA Class of 2013. She has a background in the emerging markets and structured finance, later moving into the carbon and renewable energy markets. Most recently, Pola was working on fundraising for a renewable energy technology firm. She enjoys scuba diving, kitesurfing and travelling.
