Speak Out Week: The Great Debate + Dinner

SA, along with the WiB Allies team, OiB, and BiB want to welcome you to The Great Debate, another LBS tradition.

The Great Debate is about creating a space where difficult conversations aren't just possible; they're encouraged and valued. It stands as a pivotal moment — a platform where we challenge ourselves and others to think deeply, speak and echo boldly, and listen with an open heart.

You chose the debate topics!

Debate 1: Should LBS prioritize its financial sustainability by accepting donations from any donor, regardless of their ideologies and actions?

Debate 2: Should LBS accept lower academic/ professional qualifications to get more diverse backgrounds?

Join us as a debate spectator to amplify this year's theme - Echoes of Equality. This ticket is for people who nominate themselves as debaters and for audience members. The ticket covers the cost of a highly subsidized dinner too. 
 
We understand that debating sensitive topics requires courage and openness. Please know that The Great Debate is structured to be a respectful, supportive and safe space for all participants and audience members. The presented views are part of a larger dialogue aimed at enriching our understanding of issues that affect the community and do not necessarily reflect the debaters' points of view.
