The Men's Rugby Club is the most prominent club at London Business School. With rugby at its core, the Club prides itself on its strong fellowship and its active role in the life of its members. The Club is open to all students, faculty and partners of London Business School.

There are numerous ways to get involved with the Club, whether as a player or as a social member. For players, the season begins in September with an introductory "immersion" phase catering for all levels of experience, from complete newcomer to former professionals. The squad then trains and plays every week, with the level of opposition increasing throughout the season. There are also numerous rugby tours including trips within the UK and to France and the USA.

Simultaneous to the action on the fields, the Club has a busy event calendar, including social, professional and networking events.

  
 

Some of the key highlights for 2012/2013 season will be:

  • Kick-Off - Our first event for the year, where we will introduce newcomers to the Club and its key members.
  • Pub Golf - A classic social event, with 9 holes played around Baker Street.
  • INSEAD Tour - A weekend in France with rugby against INSEAD and sightseeing in Paris.
  • Winter Tour - Traditional end-of-year tour to a secret destination.
  • Burns Night at Cranfield - Traditional Scottish rugby and a night of festivities.
  • LBS Tournament - An invitational rugby tournament hosted by the Club.
  • University of London Union Gutteridge Cup - A knock-out tournament against our brother and sister schools and colleges within the University of London.
  • MBA Rugby World Cup at Duke - One of the Club's key competitions, where we have a proud history of success.
  • Alumni Black Tie Ball - Great opportunity to meet esteemed alumni who continue to support the club.
  • MBAT - A full-school sports tournament at HEC where the Club fields a 7s team.
  • Sponsor Networking - Networking events held with the offical club sponsors throughout the year.
  • Recruitment round-tables - Successful senior students and alumni speak about common recruitment processes and answer club members' questions.
  • Spring 7s - More 7s tournaments at the end of the season.
