Join the Spanish Club and the PE/VC Club in welcoming Itxaso del Palacio, General Partner at Notion Capital, a venture capital firm focused on early-stage European SaaS and Cloud startups.

After studying chemical engineering, Itxaso began her career at DaimlerChrysler in their Quality Management department, followed by obtaining a master's degree in engineering and a PhD in entrepreneurship from the Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya. During this period, she served as a Visiting Researcher at UC Berkeley, where she developed a passion for the startup ecosystem. Upon completing her PhD, Itxaso joined Imperial College as a Research Fellow in Entrepreneurship, with a focus on venture capital. Following this role, she worked as an Investment Associate at EC1 Capital, subsequently holding positions as Principal at Lepe Partners and Partner at M12, where she established the UK office.

In late 2018, Itxaso joined Notion Capital as a General Partner. Additionally, she serves as an Associate Professor at UCL, where she teaches Entrepreneurial Finance to graduate students. Over the course of her career, Itxaso has invested in over a dozen businesses and has taught entrepreneurship to approximately 2,000 students.
