Mr Chris Morrish is Managing Director / Regional Head, Europe of GIC Real Estate, the real estate investment arm of GIC. Based in London, he is responsible for GIC’s real estate investments across Europe. He is also a member of GIC RE’s Global Investment Committee.
GIC Real Estate is a pre-eminent global real estate investment manager, with a multi-billion dollar portfolio of direct and indirect property investments worldwide.
GIC is a leading global fund management company. Established in 1981, its’ mandate is to manage the foreign reserves of Singapore by investing internationally. With over 1000 staff located in 10 major financial centres worldwide, GIC is an active investor in global equity, fixed income, and foreign exchange markets. Through its subsidiaries, GIC Real Estate and GIC Special Investments, the GIC Group is also engaged in real estate and private equity investments.
Mr Morrish graduated from Pembroke College, Cambridge in 1982 and completed his MBA at City University in 1989. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, a member of the Management Board of the IPF and until recently he was a Member of the Management Board of INREV (an industry association for Indirect Investors in Real Estate).
