In this session, we will explore what Physical AI actually is, why this moment feels different from earlier waves of robotics, and how Cloud and AI are becoming central to making intelligent robots work at scale.

Dr. Catarina Pinto is a product leader with a decade of experience bringing AI to physical and industrial environments at Henkel, Amazon Robotics, Tesla, and AWS. She is currently the Physical AI Lead Strategist for EMEA at AWS's Generative AI Innovation Center, focused on deploying innovation and science research in Physical AI at scale. She holds a PhD from the MIT-Portugal Program in Leaders for Technical Industries and an MSc in Bioengineering (Robotics), and was a research scholar at Carnegie Mellon and MIT (Robotics) and at IESE and Wharton (Business Strategy and Globalization).
