Gary Turner: Co-Founder and Managing Director at Xero

The ANZ club is excited to host Gary Turner, Co-Founder and Managing Director of one of the leading global software as a service companies, on campus in October. Xero began as a New Zealand start-up and has gone on to become the multi-award-winning global leader in online accounting software, with over 1.4 million paying subscribers in over 180 countries, and more than 312,000 of those in the UK.

Gary is responsible for Xero's business operations across Europe, Middle East & Africa. Under Gary's leadership, Xero UK has scaled from a three-person startup with annual revenues of £50k to more than £40M in the year to 31 March 2018.

Gary will be discussing the Xero origin story, scaling, disruption in the industry, becoming a global leader from a small, isolated country like New Zealand, as well as challenges faced and lessons learnt. There will be a short Q&A at the end of the night.
