The Australia and New Zealand Club invites you to join Dr. Raina Brands to discuss her groundbreaking work examining how informal social networks affect women’s careers. We all know social networks are important, but many women feel locked out of these informal realms of organizational life where reputations are forged and careers are built.

A timely discussion as many of us head back to full-time work or into summer internships, Raina will share her research and provide practical advice to both women who want to enhance their networks and men who want to take proactive steps to build inclusion in their workplaces.

Raina is widely regarded as one of LBS's most engaging lecturers. Her Managing Change elective is consistently oversubscribed and she has a deep commitment to teaching her students about Australian culture. Her work has appeared in leading publications, including HBR and the New York Times.
