Stand Up Comedy Classes!


Think you're funny and want to explore your comedic side? Or want to learn how to have an audience in stiches? You're in luck! For the first time ever, Acting Club is proud to offer Stand Up Comedy Classes taught by one of London's top up and coming comedians - Tamsyn Kelly!

This is the perfect opportunity to get out of your comfort zone in a supportive and fun environment - and do something different while your still at School! Join this course to improve your public speaking skills, increase confidence, develop your own comedy set and discover your humour, comic timing and ability!

No prior experience of any sort required!

The classes will be taught by comedian, actor and director Tamsyn Kelly (see below)

What's included?
  • 7 session course, every Tuesday 7-9pm starting 1 February till 12 April with breaks on 8,15 Feb and 8, 22 Mar
  • Stand Up Comedy Showcase for family and friends on 14 April (Date TBC)
Please note: Unfortunately, we cannot allow for cancellations because payments are made in advance. Your class place can be transferred to another attendee though (from the waitlist or from your contacts)

About the teacher:

Tamsyn Kelly is a comedian, actor and director. As a comedian she has supported Seann Walsh, Omid Djalili and Jessie Cave, she has also appeared with Russell Kane on Rage Room (Channel 4), as well as Things You Shouldn’t Say on BBC3. Tamsyn directs and performs drag and was a finalist in Man Up 2018. She has recently finished directing her first run of News Revue, and directed Sh*tfaced Showtime’s hit run of The Wizard of Oz at the Leicester Square Theatre and Edinburgh.

Tamsyn made her Edinburgh debut in 2018 at the Underbelly with her show Tamsyn Kelly: You’re Welcome
