Sir Dutton was a former UK Royal Marine Officer and former governor of Gibraltar and General McChrystal's deputy in Afghanistan. He has a unique perspective from running the $20-Billion infrastructure project for Bechtel in Gabon. Some of the cultural nuances that he had to overcome included:

1) Being a Western Company working in Africa;
2) Being a Western Company fulfilling a quasi-governmental role;
3) Being a Brit working in Francophone Africa;
4) Helping a hereditary "president" try to transform his father's government's culture of corruption and kleptocracy.  Not to mention, his own shift from a life in the military to the corporate sector.

Sir Dutton has a unique perspective on the topic of Inter-religious and Inter-cultural business. This talk will be about the inter-cultural element in the multi-national global businesses.
