The centre of economic gravity is shifting. Few would disagree that Asia and other emerging markets have been expanding rapidly and will continue to be the key growth drivers in the near future. Hong Kong, where the global advantage and China advantage converge in one single city, has played an important role as a global financial centre. Asia club is delighted to host an insightful talk with the Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, Professor KC Chan. The topic of the talk is Hong Kong's role as China's global financial centre: Opportunities and Outlook. The event will begin with a Welcome speech by the Dean of London Business School, Sir Andrew Likierman, and the event will be moderated by Linda Yueh (BBC). There will be a networking session and reception drink in a Garden Room afterwards.
