Mission
The Basketball Club is one of the leading sports clubs at London Business School with more than 300 students and alumni members from across all the programs: MBA, Executive MBA, Masters in Finance, Masters in Management and Sloan Masters.

The Basketball Club is the platform around which basketball lovers at LBS gather to enjoy one of their favourite sports: basketball. Our aim is to offer people a place to practice, learn, and compete, all this while having a really good time with great people in a nice environment.

Membership Benefits
• MBA Tournament (MBAT): one of the highlights of the year, a mini-Olympics tournament in which European Business Schools and their sports teams fight to be the very best in a variety of sports ranging from basketball to ultimate Frisbee and salsa dancing. The event involves the entire School community, including students, partners, staff and faculty. The basketball team managed a Silver in 2019, we hope to improve on that this year with your help!

• Regular practice sessions on Wednesdays and Saturdays in Central London, with alumni and students attending.

• In addition to playing ball, this is a great opportunity for students to network with alumni, and meet people from other programs.

Membership Categories

1) Students - £0 Joining Fee - players must pay a £10 fee per session for any practice sessions attended. Suitable for those who are likely to attend only a few sessions over the year.

2) Students - £80 Termly Fee - this covers all fees for practice sessions held on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Membership is valid till the end of the current term. Suitable for those who intend to play regularly over a term, but not the full year.

3) Students - £150 Yearly Fee - this covers all fees for practice sessions held on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Membership is valid for 1 academic year. Suitable for those who intend to play regularly over the year.

4) Alumni - £250 Yearly Fee - this covers all fees for practice sessions held on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Membership is valid for 1 academic year. Suitable for those who intend to play regularly over the year.
