On January 16th 2019, 7pm, Tim will address:
- His career at the company: how and why he joined, and why he stayed
- His views on developing an international career
- Coca-Cola's growth strategy in times of change.
We will follow with a Q&A open to questions from the audience, where you will get the chance to ask him anything. A networking session accompanied by beverages and snacks will then begin.
Please find below a brief biography of Tim Brett:
Tim Brett is the President of The Coca-Cola Company’s Western Europe business unit, having held this position since July 2017.
Tim joined Coca-Cola in July 1997 in the marketing function in Romania. Since then, he has held a number of positions at Coca-Cola including, President of the Alpine business unit (2006-2011) and Executive Vice President and President of the Japan business unit (2011-2012), where he was responsible for franchise operations and commercial leadership.
During his time as President of Western Europe at Coca-Cola, Tim has played a key role in launching a number of the company’s business strategies, including This Is Forward, the European sustainability action plan created in partnership with Coca-Cola European Partners (CCEP), which aims to build a better future, for people and the planet. He has also been responsible for implementing a number of the company’s global initiatives across Europe such as World Without Waste, a packaging commitment to collect and recycle the equivalent of 100 percent of Coca-Cola’s packaging by 2030, and something Western Europe aim to achieve by 2025. He graduated from St Andrews in 1987 with a BA and MA in History.
