FastMath Ace the Case Workshop - Class on 17th November

On the 16th and 17th of November, Matthew Tambiah, a former McKinsey consultant and the creator of FastMath, will be hosting the FastMath Ace the Case Workshop at LBS. Matthew has a Bachelors from Harvard and an MBA from MIT Sloan, having hosted FastMath Workshops at leading schools like Wharton, Harvard Business School, MIT and HKUST. We have hosted Matthew the last few years, and are very happy he is returning.

How to sign-up:

This Friday in a Campus Groups event that will be released by the Consulting Club.
The sessions held on each day are identical, so please only register for one session.

The scheduled times for these sessions are:

Efficient calculation methods: multiplication, division, fractions
Application to Market Sizing and Estimation and Profitability Analysis
Compound growth calculation methods
Challenging quantitative Case problems

All problems are based on real quantitative Case Interview problems from firms like KPMG, McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Accenture, and other leading firms.

FASTMATH Ace the Case Workshop

The quantitative component of Case Interviews is a critical, and often overlooked, component of the consulting interview evaluation process. Most people can learn a few frameworks — but where you can really differentiate yourself is by performing quantitative analysis quickly and efficiently while identifying ALL the key insights.

Most people find it challenging to do the calculations in Case Interviews without a calculator or spreadsheet. Furthermore, the quantitative analysis demanded in interviews at top firms like McKinsey is very challenging, with multiple levels, and many cannot solve the hardest problems even with a calculator. You can pass first round Case Interviews without solving the hardest and final levels; but you will really differentiate yourself from other candidates if you can perform ALL the quantitative analysis and identify ALL the key insights.
