Day Hike to Box Hill

Join us for some springtime walking to Norbury Park and Box Hill. We planned a circular walk through the hills outside of London passing by some beautiful viewpoints, stopping for lunch in Mickleham and continuing to Box Hill. Let's escape the city of London for a while and enjoy some stunning nature.

- Distance: 16¼ km (10.1 miles)
- Difficulty: Medium (6/10)
- Total time (including travel): ~10 hours
- Total Cost: Total transportation cost will be approximately £10 (£7 for those with a student railcard) for an off-peak single day return ticket. The £5 fee will cover trail snacks for the group.
- Food: We will stop at a pub in Mickleham for lunch and have the opportunity for a pint when we return to Westhumble in the afternoon.

Packing List:
- Sturdy walking shoes/boots, waterproof recommended
- Waterproof nylon raincoat
- Fleece or down insulative layer
- Hat
- Sunglasses
- Sunscreen (30 spf+)
- Waterbottle (1L+)

We will plan to meet at Victoria train station at 9am (leaving 09:16am) to travel to Boxhill & Westhumble train station together. If you would like to meet us there directly, please make sure to be there at 10:30am latest.
