Greetings Film Fans and LBS Community!

Hold your breath because Where do we go now? one of the best Lebanese movies that made it to the 2011 Cannes Film Festival and won the People's Choice Award at the Toronto International Film Festival will be screened at LBS and you surely don’t want to miss it!! It will take you to a village where violence, religious hatred and revenge meet with comedy, vibrant performances, music and dance. A culturally enriching movie that you absolutely can't be indifferent to!!

Join us for our film screening on Wednesday the 6th of May at 6:45pm and we promise you an enjoyable film.

Director: Nadine Labaki, also known for directing Caramel (2007)

Synopsis: Set in a remote village where the church and the mosque stand side by side, Where Do We Go Now? follows the antics of the town's women to keep their blowhard men from starting a religious war. Women heartsick over sons, husbands and fathers lost to previous flare-ups unite to distract their men with clever ruses, from faking a miracle to hiring a troop of Ukrainian strippers.
