Movie screening: DREAMS

The Film Club is delighted to be partnering with The Japan Club to screen Dreams. This is a beautiful movie accompanied by both symphonic and traditional Japanese music. Inspired by director Akira Kurosawa's dreams, the movie weaves together eight segments which are magical and mysterious, practical and funny.

As usual, there will be pizzas, this time courtesy of the Japan Club.

Synopsis: The movie consists of eight short episodes, all inspired by the dreams the director had. We follow a young man, who wears Kurosawa's trademark hat, as he takes us through the eight dreams.
