A Conversation with Ingrid Teigland Akay, Founder of Hadean Ventures

The Healthcare Club is excited to host Ingrid Teigland Akay, Founder and Managing Partner of Hadean Ventures.

Hadean Ventures is a life science VC fund which invests broadly across the sector, including in speciality pharmaceuticals, medical technology, diagnostics and digital health.

Ingrid is a medical doctor and experienced investment professional with background in healthcare, consumer goods and technology. During her investment career, Ingrid has invested into and supported start-up companies globally in different phases of development, from R&D to commercial stage. As a medical doctor, she gained broad clinical experience working in diverse fields such as general medicine, surgery and psychiatry, with exposure to both the public and private sector in several European countries including Scandinavia, Germany and the UK.

Our conversation will focus on learning more about Hadean Ventures, hearing Ingrid's perspectives on investing in the life science sector, as well as learning any guidance and advice she may have for those interested in pursuing VC.

Although focused on the life science sector, this event is open to anyone interested in VC.
