Israel Club, in collaboration with Tech & Media Club, will be hosting Eze Vidra (EMBA 2010), founder of Google Campus London and Managing Partner at Remagine Ventures. You are more than welcome to hear about his path from the "Start-Up Nation" through LBS up until the peak of London’s tech ecosystem. Limited capacity, register soon!
As the founder of Campus London, Google’s first physical startup hub, Eze Vidra has a strong claim to being a "godfather" of London’s current tech scene. Eze’s journey has taken him from product management and leadership roles in startups across the globe to managing strategic partnerships for Google, helping in the launch of Google Shopping, Google Shopping Express, and Google Wallet, as well as founding multiple businesses initiatives, including VC Café and not-for-profit TechBikers, a charitable initiative that brings tech community together with a 320km bike ride from Paris to London.
Eze, ranked by Business Insider as no.4 of "The 50 coolest people in London tech", is currently Managing Partner at Remagine Ventures, a VC that focuses on entertainment, data and commerce startups. Previously he was a general partner at Google Ventures and, prior to that, the European head of Google for Entrepreneurs, where he helped forge partnerships to strengthen the startup ecosystem. He also led Campus London, a collaborative environment for startups created by Google For Entrepreneurs.
Eze will share his experience from one of the hottest startups hubs in Tel Aviv, known more as the "Start-Up Nation" or "Silicon Wadi", and his recent experience in London's tech scene; he will also talk about current trends and his transition from Google to his own VC.
