Southeastern Hedge Fund Competition
Competition Objective: The aim is for each participating team to develop an investment strategy that would be of interest to a hedge fund. Developing the strategy involves coming up with the main idea behind the strategy and then designing and evaluating the strategy's implementation. The strategy development should take into consideration the rewards and risks associated with the strategy as well as liquidity and capital considerations.

Team Size: 1 to 5 members (masters or PhD students enrolled during 2024-2025) along with a faculty advisor.
Important Dates:
1) Feb 7, 25: Declaraton of Faculty Advisor
2) Mar 7, 25: Submission Due
3) Apr 1, 25: Notification of Finalists
4) May 1, 25: Final Competition
First Prize: USD 10,000, Second Prize: USD 5000 and Third Prize: USD 3000
