THE MACRO GROUP HOST'S SPECIAL GUEST SPEAKER

Bilal Hafeez, Global Strategist at Deutsche Bank, is coming to present "The biggest risks in the world, and how to solve them". He will talk about Grexit, Brexit, secular stagnation, the japanification of China, amongst other things.

Please join us in LT2 at 6.45pm on Monday 15th June, in what promises to be one of the Macro Group's most interesting sessions.

Bilal Hafeez

Bilal is a Managing Director and Global Strategist at Deutsche Bank. He is the co-editor of DB's Konzept journal - an innovative new publication with topics ranging from the Japanisation of China to robotics to how literature represents financiers. Previously, he was Global Head of FX Research, where he was responsible for formulating the bank's view on currencies.  He also did extensive work on FX as an asset class, and created some of the first investable benchmarks for currency returns.  Bilal has been based in London and Singapore. He travels extensively speaking to hedge funds, institutional investors, policymakers, sovereign wealth funds and leading corporates. Bilal grew up in Oxford, read Economics at St John's College, Cambridge and now lives in Wimbledon (but remains terrible at tennis).
