The Macro Group of the Investment Management Club is extremely happy to welcome Russell Napier to LBS on Feb 8th. The topic of the presentation will be on “the global monetary system and its flaws”. Registration will open tonight at 6:30pm.

Russell Napier is one of the most famous UK macro strategist, having spent most of his career at CLSA in Hong Kong and London. He is frequently quoted in the Financial Times, Bloomberg, Forbes, ZeroHedge and other market publications, and is regarded as a great thinker of our generation. Most recently, Mr. Napier co-founded ERIC (www.eri-c.com), a platform for the sale of individually priced investment research. In 2014, he also established “The Library of Mistakes” in Edinburgh, a charitable venture and financial history resource for anyone wishing to learn the lessons of the past as a guide to our financial future. Napier’s book, Anatomy of The Bear: Lessons From Wall Streets Four Great Bottoms, was published to public and critical acclaim in 2005. Mr. Napier is a fellow of the CFA Institute of the UK and sits on the Board of a few UK companies.
