Conversation with Ned Salter, Head of Equity, Fidelity International

Please join the Investment Management Club for a conversation with Ned Salter, Head of Equity at Fidelity, about investing, the future of the asset management industry, and his career transitions from analyst to portfolio manager and then into management.

Ned started his career in 2001 as an analyst at Putnam Investments in Boston. After doing an MBA at HBS, he progressed to become a portfolio manager on the Putnam Global Industrials fund, as well as covering the global autos sector. He led the graduate programme and was also responsible for setting up and running Putnam’s Singapore office.

Ned moved to Fidelity in 2014 to be Director of Research. He was subsequently promoted to Head of Research - Europe in 2016, and in August 2018 he became Head of Equity.
