Achievement Asset Management LLC (AAM), formerly known as PEAK6 Advisors LLC, is a SEC-registered investment advisor with approximately US $2 billion in assets under management.  Founded in 2005, the firm spun out of its original parent company, PEAK6 Investments, L.P., in 2014.

 With approximately 70 employees and offices in Chicago and London, AAM manages alternative investments for financially sophisticated high net worth and institutional investors.  The firm's investment funds and mandates are managed by an experienced team under the leadership of Joe Scoby who has acted as the firm's Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer since January 2012.

Shyam Parekh

Prior to joining the Firm in May 2012, Mr. Parekh was at Morgan Stanley in London, where he served as a Managing Director since 2004.  At Morgan Stanley, he was European head and Global co-head of Financial Institutions Capital Markets.  In this capacity, Mr. Parekh managed a team of over 50 professionals, responsible for leading equity and debt transactions for insurers and banks, including numerous capital raisings and restructurings of European banks over the last four years.  Mr. Parekh first joined Morgan Stanley in 1996, and prior to that spent four years at O'Connor & Associates (latterly Swiss Bank Corporation), where he trained in equity derivatives and equity-linked securities. In 2001 and 2002, he also spent a year at UBS O'Connor London, helping its management evaluate whether to build a European stat arb effort before returning to Morgan Stanley in 2003. Mr. Parekh graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology at the age of 18 in 1992 with a BSc in Computer Science and a Minor in Economics.
