Conversation With Sumant Wahi, Portfolio Manager, FIL 

Please join the IMC on Wednesday, January 16 for a fireside chat with Sumant Wahi, Portfolio Manager - the Global Communications Fund, Fidelity International. 

Sumant is a Portfolio Manager at Fidelity International. During his initial years of career, Sumant worked extensively in the tech industry from designing graphics microchips (in iPhone) to selling cryptography algorithms to the Indian intelligence authorities. He also co-founded two start-ups, one offering solutions from tracking passengers in airports and other offering remote secretary services from India. Since 2008, he has been focussing on valuing tech companies for investments. He was working as a sell-side equity analyst valuing European semiconductor and telecom equipment companies till 2014 and then moved to Fidelity International.

Sumant will be discussing a wide range of topics, including his career in investment management, his transition from sell side to buy side, how he evolved as an investor and his investment philosophy and research process.
