Value Investing Speaker Series: Conversation with Hassan Elmasry

IMC is pleased to start “Value Investing Speaker Series”. As part of the series, IMC will be inviting notable value investors to share their experience of working in the industry, their investment philosophy and research process.

As part of the series, we are very excited to host Hassan Elmasry for a fireside chat. Hassan is the co-founder of Independent Franchise Partners, LLP established in 2009 to offer the Franchise investment approach to institutional investors through a dedicated, independent investment management partnership. As par Hassan “the Franchise investment approach is based on the understanding that a concentrated portfolio of exceptionally high quality companies, whose primary competitive advantage is supported by a dominant intangible asset, will earn attractive long-term returns with less than average volatility. This is particularly true when those investments are selected with an absolute value bias”.
