Ramesh Rajagopalan, Head of Equity Research at Rothschild in London, will talk about Primary Research in the investment process.

Ramesh Rajagopalan is a senior investment analyst and heads the equity research process at Rothschild in London which determine the equity investments for a £10B multi asset fund. He joined the firm in 2014. Prior to Rothschild, Ramesh worked for Fidelity Investments for 6 years as an investment analyst covering diverse sectors – Financials/TMT/Healthcare and Consumer with a particular focus on Emerging markets.
Ramesh subscribes to a value investing philosophy with an emphasis on detailed fundamental research. Ramesh started his career as an entrepreneur and spent five years working in the Consumer Financial Services industry in various strategy roles prior to Fidelity.
He has an MBA from the Booth School of Business, University of Chicago and an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
