Details

Rang De (www.rangde.org) is a 7-year old non-profit Bangalore based social enterprise which fights poverty in India by providing low interest-rate microcredit (4.5-10% p.a.) to the underprivileged in a solution that combines crowdfunding and peer-peer lending.

Led by an Ashoka Fellow, Rang De has a model that allows each individual to make a difference through social investments from Rs 100 (˜ £1) which once repaid by the borrower can be either withdrawn by the social investor or be reinvested to other borrower.
