The LBS Infrastructure and Construction Club is pleased to invite you to an Infrastructure Valuation Training session led by senior experts from Deloitte’s Valuation team.

This session is designed for those who already possess a foundational understanding of general valuation and are looking to deepen their expertise in the specific nuances of the infrastructure asset class.

This 90-minute session will provide a high-level overview of the specialized frameworks used to value complex infrastructure projects including:
• Infrastructure as an Asset Class: Exploring what differentiates infrastructure from other sectors from a risk and valuation perspective.
• Methodology & Approach: High-level discussions on infrastructure value drivers, methodologies, and discount rates parameters.
• Investor Perspectives: Understanding the different infrastructure investors such as infrastructure funds, sovereign wealth funds, and pension funds.
• Market Trends & Q&A: An interactive discussion on current market trends followed by a dedicated Q&A session with the Deloitte team.

🎤 About the Speakers
• Alexandre Tresgallo Pardo – Partner Alex is the co-lead for Deloitte’s Infrastructure Valuation practice in London. With over 20 years of experience and a track record of more than 200 infrastructure valuations, he is a trusted advisor to major global funds. He has extensive international experience across Europe and has previously lectured on valuation theory to MBA, Executive MBAs, and Masters in Finance students at the different universities including Luiss Business School.

• Lawrence Ho – Associate Director Lawrence specializes in commercial valuations with a focus on transportation assets (airports, ports, rolling stock) and regulated utilities. He is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Masters in Major Programme Management from the University of Oxford, alongside a Masters in Finance and Risk Management from the University of Cape Town.

• Felicity Burns – Senior Analyst Felicity advises on valuations across subsectors including gas, transport, fiber, and PPP assets. She is a Philosophy and Economics graduate from the University of Edinburgh and is currently a CFA Level II candidate.
