About the speaker
Sarmad is the Head of Finance and Investment at Great British Energy – Nuclear, where he is responsible for delivering financing solutions that support the UK’s nuclear future. 
His 25+ year career in infrastructure spans delivering and managing large scale infrastructure projects. He has cross-sectoral experience, having worked in diverse sectors such as low carbon energy, transport and logistics and social infrastructure and has led multiple innovative award-winning transactions. He previously held senior roles at DP World and started his career in EY’s project finance team.
Sarmad is a Sloan 2020 LBS alumni
