This one day course is split into two parts. The first covers everything you need to know about leadership, and is the culmination of almost fifty years of education, training and experience in a broad range of challenging leadership environments - the British Army, including Iraq, Afghanistan and Northern Ireland, hospitals during Covid and the corporate sector. It is what we wish we'd known when we were starting out. It covers:
1. Personal example
2. How to get the best from your team
3. Direction & coordination
4. Leadership development
5. Followership
6. Adapting your style to suit the situation
The second session covers the psychology behind human performance and again, is a combination of education, working with industry experts and our own experience:
1. Variable human performance
2. Team dynamics
3. Your brain under pressure - why you repeatedly make mistakes and how not to
4. Effective communication under pressure
