***** What is the migration Hub? *****
Migration Hub offers a network for initiatives that, in cooperation with refugees, develop solutions for integration—from digital platforms to business ideas. They provide space and expertise both online and offline to come up with ideas, gather feedback and share knowledge. In this way, they want to encourage greater self-reliance, especially with regard to innovative projects, irrespective of residency status.
Migration Hub supports refugees through the use of digital technology, knowledge transfer and local cooperation. Current projects include Kiron, the online university for refugees that has 1,250 students up to now, and Volunteer Planner, which is used by 30,000 volunteers.
***** What is the session about? *****
The session is a 2-hour problem-solving innovation workshop developed by the MakeSense community in partnership with NetImpact.
