Are you interested in CSR and sustainability?

LBS and the Net Impact Club are delighted to have partnered with CSR Meet-up London, a network of professionals who work or have an interest in CSR and related fields. Through this partnership LBS will be hosting a series of events on campus throughout the year that will discuss the latest trends and ideas in this space and provide networking opportunities with those organisations and individuals that are driving them.

In this session panel speakers will explore and debate how corporations can best promote and encourage sustainable practices among consumers, and argue how simply marketing sustainability isn’t enough.

Steve Macatonia, co-founder and Director of Coffee Sourcing & Ethical Trade at Union Coffee and frequent commentator in the Guardian, will discuss the limitations of Fairtrade products and persuade that focusing on high quality and sustainable production is the only fair way to manage the coffee supply chain.

Steve will be joined by Adam Garfunkel, MD of Junxion, a leading strategy and branding agency that works with organisations committed to making a positive impact, who will argue that there are many ways to change behavior and make it more sustainable, but none that actually involve talking to consumers about sustainability.
