Private Equity and Sport with Alan Bowkett

The Sports Business Club and Private Equity & Venture Capital Club are excited to welcome you to a conversation with LBS Alum Alan Bowkett.

About Alan Bowkett:
Alan has had an extremely successful career after completing his MBA at London Business School. He has been chair of 18 PE deals, CEO of a FTSE 250 company and chair of another FTSE 250 company. He also did his first MBI when he was 36. He has worked on numerous private equity deals in addition to having served as an advisor at CVC Capital Partners and Montagu Private Equity. He has extensive Board experience across a range of industry sectors.

Alan was also Chairman of Norwich City FC from 2009 to 2015. Over this time, he transformed the financial fortunes of the club and oversaw back-to-back promotions from League One to the Premier League.

The conversation will be split equally about Alan’s experience in the private equity industry as well as his experience as Chairman of Norwich City FC.
