We are delighted to host Edward Mungai, author of Impact Investing in Africa: A Guide to Sustainability for Investors, Institutions, and Entrepreneurs. He is perfectly positioned to discuss how best to drive investment and activity in the green economy and sustainable business in Africa. He is CEO of the Kenya Climate Innovation Center (KCIC), which helps accelerate the development, deployment and transfer of locally relevant climate technologies to the private sector. He has been Region head for the Danish International Investments Fund and has worked for KPMG East Africa, and is experienced in development financing mechanisms for SMEs, with special interests in the agribusiness, renewable energy, and water and sanitation sectors. He also teaches at the renowned Strathmore Business School .
