Details

Sonia Medina will take you through her career from green energy start-ups to leading one of the world’s largest climate change portfolios (currently at USD 580 mn). Named a world economic forum leader in 2014, Sonia is one of the most influential voices in the UK climate change sphere. Sonia currently acts as the Executive Director for Climate Change at the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (active portfolio over USD 1Bn) and sits on the Boards of ClientEarth, Iniciative Climatica Mexico and Carbon Disclosure Project. Sonia has a particular focus on clean energy, cooling and air quality. Sonia and her team have been working continuously in preparation of COP26 where Sonia will be an active voice. This is not a session to miss if you want to learn more about climate change and the inventive ways foundations are seeking to tackle it.
