Dublin Technology Trek Application Info

The Technology Club, in collaboration with Career Services, is very excited to present its 2015 Dublin Trek! This is a unique opportunity for you to visit the European Headquarters of the leading technology companies in the world and gain great insights into their operations and internship opportunities available. All those interested in pursuing a career in the tech sector are highly encouraged to apply. Below are the details.

1. Event details:
  - Date: Wednesday 28th to Friday 30th Oct, 2015
  - Plan for: Arriving the 27th & flying out night of 30th 
  - Location: Dublin, Ireland

2. Logistics/Costs:
  - Hotel: We will arrange the hotel. Estimate = £40 pp/night shared, £80 pp/night single, excluding tax!, to be paid by you. 
  - Flights: You will have to book your own flights (£60 to £150)
  - Total: £200 to £400 – doesn’t include the meals and liquid bread

3. Application process:
  - Copy of your LBS CV
  - Two essay questions (1500 character total):
      o Why do you want to go on the Dublin Trek? (1000)
      o Which company would you most like to work for and why? What would be one question you would ask the executive of the company? (500)

  - Send CV to: techclub@london.edu with subject "Dublin Trek Application Form" to make sure we don't miss it.
  - Deadline: Friday, Oct. 09, 2015 at 11:59pm
  - Acceptance decision: Monday Oct. 12, 2015
  - Total number of participants: 25

We are expecting a very high number of applications. In order to make the process fully transparent, we would like to inform you of the following:
  - Deadline and character count strictly enforced
  - All essays judged by at least 2 Executive Committee Members with no knowledge of the applicants name or program (these fields will be hidden from the readers)
  - 5 people on the waitlist
  - No priority to the technology club members.
