Join us for a panel discussion on the future of the payments industry, featuring the following participants:

--- Karen Pepper - Head of UK, Amazon Pay ---

Karen Pepper is responsible for leading Amazon’s payment services for 3rd party merchants in the UK including Amazon Pay and the associated value added services.
Karen is a 15-year veteran of the payments and start up industries. Most recently she was Global Head of Alliance Banks at JP Morgan where she managed relationship with 22 banks across 41 markets. Karen has also held executive positions at American Express and her own multi-million pound start up in the health and fitness sector.

Karen sits on the board of Hatch, a UK incubator for social enterprises and on the board of Tamar, an anti-human trafficking charity. She holds a MBA from the London Business School.

--- Catherine Moore - President of Chase Paymentech Europe Ltd (Merchant Acquiring and Payment Processing Arm of JPM Chase) ---

As President, Catherine has full P&L responsibility for the business, overseeing all areas including sales & marketing, client support, product development, legal & compliance, finance and risk. She is charged with guiding the continued growth of J.P. Morgan Merchant Services internationally including developing new markets and channels for the company.

Catherine joined J.P. Morgan from American Express in June 2010 as Executive Director of International Prepaid, bringing more than 15 years of experience in finance, strategy and partnership management across a range of industries. Prior to her appointment in Merchant Services, Catherine was Managing Director of International Commercial Card where she was responsible for the strategic development and overall management for Commercial Card outside of North America. This included managing teams covering both proprietary-issued products and those issued by 22 partner banks in the J.P. Morgan network across EMEA, LATAM and APAC.

Catherine holds an MBA in Change Management from the London Business School, and a Bachelor of Arts in Quantitative Economics and Decision Sciences from the University of California, San Diego.

--- Andra Sonea - Anthemis Fellow and Solutions Architect ---

Andra has built her career in technology consulting, designing and implementing systems in a variety of industries and advising financial institutions on architecture decisions and roadmaps.

She is an Anthemis Fellow, a mentor with Startupbootcamp and consults through 11:FS.

Previously she worked internationally with LBG, IBM, SAP, EY, Deutsche Bank and KPMG. Her current focus is developing scalable, cloud based back office services for new financial propositions originating both from outside and inside of the incumbent financial services institutions.

Andra has a BSc in Economics and Political Sciences, and an MBA in Corporate Finance from London Business School.

--- Mayank Somaiya - Senior Director, Innovation & Strategic Partnerships, Visa, London UK ---

Mayank Somaiya has recently relocated from San Francisco, California to London to lead the Visa Innovation Center London, its operations and innovation initiatives for Europe. Mayank has been the architect for the Visa Innovation Centers in London, Dubai and Miami, for which he led the design and build.

He joined Visa in 2012 from Capital One, where he was part of their strategy team and before that an investment banker with Goldman Sachs.

Mayank holds an MBA from LaSalle School of Business, and a Bachelor in Computer Applications from Birla Institute of Technology.
