The Tech & Media Club is excited to welcome Danny Aranda, MD for Europe for Ripple - one of the top 5 "hottest companies in FinTech" (Fortune, 2016) on Monday, May 8th at 6.45pm.

Founded in 2012, Ripple uses blockchain technology to provide global financial settlement solutions to ultimately enable the world to exchange value like it already exchanges information – what it calls an Internet of Value (IoV).

Ripple's solutions lower the total cost of settlement by enabling banks to transact directly, without correspondent banks, and with real-time certainty of settlement. Banks around the world are partnering with Ripple to improve their cross-border payment offerings, and to join the growing, global network of financial institutions and market makers laying the foundation for the Internet of Value.

Ripple is a venture-backed startup with offices in San Francisco, New York, London and Sydney. Investors include Andreessen Horowitz, Accenture, and Google Ventures. Ripple sits on the Federal Reserve's Faste Payments Task Force Steering Commitee, and co-chairs the W3C's Web Payments Working Group.

Danny will be joined by Paul Thomas from Accenture Digital, in a 'fireside chat' format - Paul is Accenture's Global Offer Development Lead for the Internet of Things, Mobility and Connected Commerce. ?

Please join us for a fascinating discussion as we continue to discuss the future of payments!
