Bridging Crypto and Institutional Finance: Roundtable discussion with Galaxy Digital's Head of Europe

We would like to invite you to an informal roundtable discussion with Stephen Kelvo, Managing Director and Head of Europe at Galaxy Digital, a diversified merchant bank dedicated to the digital assets and blockchain technology industry. The talk will provide and insight into how digital assets are being institutionalised and how blockchain is changing financial services.

Stephen Kelso is a Managing Director and Head of Europe at Galaxy Digital. Prior to joining the firm, he co-founded the digital investments business NKBgroup.io. Steve has spent over twenty years in capital markets running quantitative trading and investment businesses in developed and emerging markets. Steve was CEO of FirstRand’s multi-asset and specialist equities business, Ashburton International. Before that, he ran equities, derivatives and financing for Renaissance Capital in Moscow where he was Head of the Tactical Trading Group, responsible for the investment bank’s positioning throughout the Great Financial Crisis. Before moving to Russia, Steve ran the Global Volatility Fund at KBC Alternative Investment Managers, one of the first volatility arbitrage funds in Europe. He started his career at Goldman Sachs before moving to Lehman Brothers where he ran European index options trading. He holds a Masters in Engineering from St Catharine’s College, Cambridge University where he was awarded the Nicholas Prize for Leadership.
