About Lea Stendahl:
Lea Stendahl is the Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing & Strategy Officer for Suffolk. In her marketing function, Ms. Stendahl is responsible for defining and implementing a strategic marketing vision aligned with Suffolk’s exponential growth nationally. As the marketing lead, she is responsible for driving the transformation of the organization’s marketing function by creating and executing an integrated, diverse marketing strategy that encompasses all branding, media, communications, digital marketing and promotional strategies. Ms. Stendahl also leads Suffolk’s strategy function where she partners with leadership to develop strategies and plans for growing existing businesses, establishing adjacency growth opportunities and leveraging new technologies and business models to support the firm’s ambitious business growth goals and vision.
Prior to her role at Suffolk, Ms. Stendahl served as Chief Marketing Officer at E*TRADE where she helped define and drive E*TRADE’s brand and marketing initiatives through innovative campaigns positioning the organization as the undisputed source for digital investing and trading. Under Ms. Stendahl’s leadership, E*TRADE deployed a fresh, bold marketing and advertising approach that rejuvenated the iconic brand and earned a Gold Effie Award. Prior to her Chief Marketing Officer role at E*TRADE, Ms. Stendahl was a Managing Director of brand and marketing communications for TD Ameritrade.
Ms. Stendahl is a member of Tech:NYC which is an engaged network of strategic tech and business leaders working to foster a dynamic, diverse and creative New York. Ms. Stendahl has been recognized for her marketing and branding vision and leadership and was recently named to AdWeek’s 50 Most Indispensable Media, Marketing and Tech Players. GlobeSt.com named her one of the 2020 “Women of Influence” for her distinctive impact on the commercial real estate space.
