Details
Given that 1 in 2 women suffer some form of sexual harassment in the UK - this conversation is a must. This percentage rises to 66% for women in the informal sector including outsourced workers, agency workers and zero hour contract workers. It is likely that you will either be harassed, witness or be responsible for the livelihood of a person who experiences sexual harassment.
This is a session designed for you in all the different frames you may see sexual harassment. This session is set to equip you with understanding UK law and approach on sexual harassment so you can navigate building a safe environment as well as reacting if you happen to be a victim or a witness.
Join us for an honest conversation with Arpita Dutt, leading sexual harassment litigator acting for victims and co-founder of the UK’s first hotline for sexual harassment victims in the workplace, and representatives from well known corporations. And listen on what they consider to be best in class policies and checks and balances
Given the sensitivity of the topic and some of the conversations we will be having at the event, we have decided to target this event at those who identify as women and TGNCNB people.
