Do you consider yourself a good negotiator? Have you mastered the art of reading people? Why not try your skills at a game of Diplomacy?

Diplomacy is one of the greatest games ever made, and unlike any other. There are no dice, no cards, no luck what so ever. You are in complete control of your own success, but it is extremely difficult to accomplish anything on your own. Therefore, through negotiations, you make deals, lie, back stab, or trick the other players. Any alliances or deals you make are with the mutual understanding that in order to win, you are going to need to stab your ally.

This was the favorite game of Walter Cronkite and Henry Kissinger. It was also played in the Kennedy white house.

There's been enough interest so I am finally going to run a diplomacy session. I only have two boards with me here in London, so that means up to 14 people can play. If you do plan to come, I recommend bringing a tablet so you can take a picture of the board for your negotiations (this helps a lot for first time players)
