Lexington Catering at London Business School offers a diverse range of culinary experiences within the Cafes on campus and Hospitality Services. The food is prepared on site from our culinary team and is managed by the onsite Lexington team.
From daily lunches to special events, Lexington Catering are the contract catering provider at The School.
HOSPITALITY SERVICES
Hospitality in room catering services are delivered 7 days a week between 7:30am-10:00pm. The catering services are laid out within the Hospitality Brochure and can be booked via the Catering Events Team Cateringevents@london.edu
The Hospitality brochure outlines the notice periods, information required and cancellation policy. Please do note this key information as additional charges may be applied for failure to follow the policies.
Please note that collaboration with the Space Management team may be required to ensure you have the right space booked for your events. Please note the Catering Space Management Matrix.
HOW TO BOOK HOSPITALITY
The below guidance is provided to support the booking process, please complete the following actions:
1. Check the Space Matrix below and see what space best suits your event
2. Email space@london.edu and book your space. You will receive a space confirmation number
3. Contact Cateringevents@london.edu with your catering requirement, space ID number and a brief for catering
4. The catering team will work with you to support booking your event and ensuring the costs match your budget.

WHAT IS THE CATERING POLICY?
Once you have booked your meeting or dining room with space management, please contact the Catering Team at cateringevents@london.edu quoting your six digit reference number or, if you wish to discuss any hospitality requirements or need assistance with the booking, please contact us directly on: 020 7000 7882
For out of hours contact, please call the Duty Manager on 07966 907871. Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm. When booking, please discuss the menu suitability for your chosen venue and any special dietary requirements that you may have. Please be aware that certain restrictions apply to the service of food and beverage depending on venue. We require the following minimum notice for catering arrangements:
A discretionary charge will be made in the event of late cancellation of bookings. Minimum cancellation notice for beverages is 24 hours and for hot and cold food is 48 hours.
Please be aware that all notice times are based on normal hospitality office working hours and do not include weekends. We will always do our utmost toaccommodate requests at short notice and ask that you telephone Catering Events directly on 020 7000 7882 between 8:00am and 5:00pm, or the Duty Manager on 07966 907871 outside of office hours
DOES THE PRICES ON THE BROCHURE INCLUDE VAT?
The prices on the brochure are without VAT, please note this will be charged on your final invoice via The School's finance department. If you are waiting on a final invoice please contact the Catering events team.
HOW DO I MANAGE DIETARY REQUIREMENTS?
Please note that all food is produced on site, therefore you must note with the Catering Events teams any allergens or intolerances ahead of the booking. Common allergens - we do always ensure we have information on hand for the 14 legal allergens (Gluten, Peanut, Tree nuts, Celery, Mustard, Eggs, Milk, Sesame, Fish, crustaceans, Molluscs, Soya, Sulphites and Lupin).
We do also try to accommodate all intolerances, allergies and different diets. For people with specific diets please note the items which need to be checked with the guest. Please note additional charges may apply. Kosher or Strictly Kosher - We will outsource to Hermolis for strict kosher diets at additional charge. Halal - We can accommodate most bookings with halal meat options or a vegetarian alternative. Vegetarian, Vegan and
Pescatarian - On most menus you will always have a vegetarian and pescatarian option. Please do inform us on the numbers of guests with this dietary requirement so we can increase choice if necessary.
During your event if you have any queries please ask a a member of the catering team or the on site Duty Manager of the day to clarify.
When it comes to running an event, there are several key steps to keep in mind. First, it's important to define the objective of the event and the target audience. This will help shape all the subsequent decisions.
STEP BY STEP GUIDE
1. BOOK A SPACE - Contact Space Management to organise a room on campus which is suitable for your style of event
2. GET A FINANCE CODE FROM YOUR CLUB SA PRESIDENT - You will require this to confirm your catering order
3. CONTACT CATERING EVENTS - We will supply you with a brochure to choose from. Please specify if your event is sponsored OR being charged to your club
4. SIGN OFF YOUR QUOTE - Once you are happy with your quote, you will need to confirm this in writing to ensure the event goes ahead
TOP TIP: Work in advance and aim to have your booking confirmed 1 month in advance. You can adjust your guest numbers closer to the time!

CAFES ON CAMPUS
There are six cafe locations available for refuelling on campus. Whether you’re looking for a premium sandwich, unique deli offerings, seasonal salads, grab & go items, or freshly baked pastries, we prioritise convenience without compromising on quality to ensure you’re energized for the day.
Nash Lounge – Sussex Place (A wing)
Nash Lounge is the perfect place on campus to enjoy a delicious meal and catch up with friends or colleagues. They offer rotisserie chicken, seasonal Buddha Bowl salad bar, Grab & Go sandwiches and Change Please barista coffee.
The Air Stream – Sussex Place (Outside North Building)
An outdoor coffee spot offering freshly made toasties, perfect for alfresco dining.
Bitesize – Sussex Place (Ratcliffe)
Grab & Go options that include coffees, pastries, confectionary, and soft drinks. So, whether you need your caffeine fix, have a sweet tooth, or just need a quick snack, Bitesize has got you covered.
Nash Kitchen – Sussex Place (A wing)
This outlet provides daily-changing street food menus that can be customized to your liking, with each meal prepared freshly in front of you.
The Lounge – Sammy Ofer Centre
Grab & Go options that include coffees, pastries, confectionary, and soft drinks. Placed within the Student Lounge for all day dining.
The Café – Sammy Ofer Centre
Kick start the day with our new and improved breakfast bar, choose your yoghurt, granola and fresh fruits. At lunchtime, The Café serves a seasonal salad bar, Grab & Go options, and deli sandwiches.
Your feedback is important to us. We value input from the student community as it helps us enhance our services. As our largest customer demographic on campus, we are eager to hear your suggestions on how we can make improvements.
Consider well-being and sustainability when selecting your food. To help you make healthy choices, we offer a wide range of plant-based vegan and vegetarian food. Also consider your order quantities and confirm guest numbers to ensure you don’t have a lot of food waste.
Disposables on campus
In 2018, we committed to eliminating plastic usage by incorporating Vegware disposables, showcasing our dedication to lessening our environmental footprint and advancing sustainability. Vegware items, derived from plants and fully compostable, offer a more eco-friendly option compared to conventional plastic disposables.
Remember to reduce your single use footprint by bringing a reusable cup to any café on campus. Save 25p on every hot drink!
Coffee on campus
We use the Change Please coffee blend across campus. Change Please is a social enterprise, all their profits go to helping people experiencing homelessness to get back on their feet they are also are carbon neutral certified!
Compleat Range
Our Compleat range is made on site daily by our dedicated culinary team. Our food is made fresh using locally sourced produce, 100% free range eggs and is made on site at The School.
And let's not forget about the coffee! We have partnered with Change Please, a coffee company that helps fight homelessness by training people that were living on the streets to become baristas. This means that not only are you getting a great cup of coffee, but you are also doing your part in helping your community.
We are accredited with the Environmental Management System ISO14001, which ensures we monitor our impact on the environment and apply initiatives to reduce any adverse effects.
Lexington is supporting Water Unite, a non-profit organisation whose vision is a world where everyone has access to clean, safe water and decent sanitation and lives free from waste pollution. For every bottle or can of water that is sold a donation is made to Water Unite.
As caterers we feel that we have responsibility to help beat food waste. Alongside various technology solutions and food packaging innovations we have introduced TRASHED, our very own award-winning low waste food concept.
