Dear All,

Tencent - 2019 WeChat Open Class is coming on campus!

China is proudly presenting to you an exciting session TOMORROW, Thursday, May 16, with China's tech giant Tencent to learn, discuss and debate the success of the Chinese multi-purpose messaging, social media and mobile payment platform, WeChat.

London Business School has developed an academic study - a business case - which defines and explores the key elements of WeChat' business innovations and agility.

Tencent’s WeChat – what is the ‘special sauce’ which is captivating the rest of the world?

From its founding as a modest 10-person operation back in 2010, to its emergence as China’s leading digital platform for social engagement and business services and networking, WeChat is certainly a story of continuous innovation, meticulous execution and fortuitous timing.

But what has been the formula, the proverbial ‘special sauce’ which makes WeChat so special, attracting more than 1bn users in China and overseas?

Want to find out the story behind this amazing venture? Come and talk to LBS’s Professor Julian Birkinshaw, and LBS Sloan Fellow, case co-author and entrepreneur, Dickie Liang-Hong Ke. We have ONLY 15 SPOTS availabe. So, do it quickly!
