Details

A unique opportunity to visit the London Metals Exchange (LME), usually closed to the general public.

The LME is the world centre for industrial metals trading. More than 80% of global non-ferrous business is conducted on its markets. In 2015 it transacted $12 trillion (notional) while being the only financial exchange to maintain open outcry trading in Europe.

The visit will also include a visit to the copper trading slot as well as a presentation from Robert Fig, the Head of Physical Market Sales for the LME.

Meet with at the LME at 10 Finsbury Square, London EC2A 1AJ at 15:30 or in the Plowden Reception at 14:50 to travel there together.
