The LBS Design & Innovation Club is excited to host IDEO for a Design Thinking Workshop. Through a hands-on session where you will learn the basics of Design Thinking and how you can use it to resolve problems in a creative way.  

IDEO is a global design company that creates positive impact through design. They have more than 700 employees, offices in 9 locations, and more than 25 years of experience in changing the world through design. Visit their web page here for more information about them.  

Two amazing instructors will guide the workshop: 

• Emma Rovit: An LBS student (MBA 2019) who interned with IDEO over the fall term. Emma is a learning-agile manager who is interested in customer-centric strategy, lean operations, empathetic leadership, e-commerce, hospitality, and the sharing economy. Before LBS, Emma worked in tech operations for high-growth start-ups, management consulting, and industrial design engineering. She holds a degree in mechanical engineering with a minor in visual studies. 
• Mollie Amkraut: An LBS alumn (MBA 2016), that has been a Business Design Lead at IDEO for the last 2 years. She is a member of Founders of the Future, an invite-only community of the most promising entrepreneurial talent in technology in Europe. She also freelances as a Consultant, and has worked on strategy at Smart Design. Before LBS, she has been part of EY and Deliveroo, among other technology and VC firms.
