Introduction to Debating Session 1

We have found that presentations, interviews and meetings where you need to impress and persuade a group of people are the Achilles heel of most business school students. But unfortunately, a lot of your success in life depends on being able to do exactly that.

Hence, we have organised these open debating sessions for you to learn and practice new skills in presentation and persuasion. Come join us in the Introduction to debating session and we will help you become the next Gordon Gekko.

Besides who among us does not enjoy a good argument :)

What to expect in the session?

This session aims to introduce you to the basics of debating and will touch on the following topics.

• Style and presentation skills
• Simple argumentation structure

You can then practice these skills in a live debate.

P.S. Usually we head to the bar for a few drinks after the session just to let off some steam after and intense debate!
